Recreating / Znovu
Vytvářet znovu nějaký kus pletence (v tomhle případě čepici) není vždycky úplně snadné, obzvlášť, když původní výrobek nemáte zrovna po ruce.
Kamarádka Jana má ode mě čepici a chtěla by ještě jednu, o trošku volnější. V pletení jsem na takovém místě, že mám v podstatě tři možnosti: buď vzít o trochu větší jehlice (jenže to by měla pletenina větší díry než by bylo zdrávo) nebo přidat očka (to by se mi zase rozbil vzor, který se opakuje po 8), takže jsem přistoupila na poslední možnost - plést trochu volněji, přinejhorším to bude trochu pružnější. Oh well, myslím, že mise se zdařila a sama jsem zvědavá, jak to bude fungovat :)
Recreating a knitted garment (hat in this case) isn't always that easy. Especially when the original garment is not in your hands anymore.
My friend Jana has a hat from me and would like to have another one, a bit looser. In my knitting I am in a place, where I have basically only three options: either use thicker needles (but that would make holes in the fabric way too big) or add some more stitches (which would break the pattern, repeating after 8 stitches). So I went with the last option - knit a bit looser, I should be a bit more stretchy (and add some more yarn to those floats so there is room for stretching). Oh well, I think the mission was successful and I am really curious how will this all work out :)
